ASB team members earn TAS Certificate

American Solutions for Business continues to encourage certification training for various team members through Professional Products Association Institute (PPAI). Recently, six home office members on the Product Support, Marketing and Public Relations teams earned their Trained Advertising Specialist (TAS) certification. The team members are: Kathryn Letness & Hayley Thomson (Marketing), Vicki Peterson, Kim Fuchs & Paula Peterson (Product Support), and Simi Kasakwe (Public Relations).

“Education & development is key in building strong, dynamic teams. Not only does it keep us in tune with the needs of our salespeople, but it helps expand a deep understanding of the promotional products industry,” said Taylor Borst, Director of Marketing, Events & Public Relations.

PPAI offers four certification levels recognized across the industry based on distributor and supplier subject matter. The TAS certification is aimed at providing promotional products professionals with a source for finding answers to their questions and a plethora of information about the industry. It is a prerequisite to the Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) certification, and is comprised of six courses, from a Roadmap to the Supply Chain, to Product Safety Basics. “I am so incredibly proud of our team,” expressed Director of Vendor Relations, Ron Robinson. “The education they’re earning through these certifications not only provides knowledge for our team, but also provides the sales reps with confidence in them and their ability to supply accurate and quality leads for information about vendors.”
