Birthday Card Program | Case Study

Situation: A large insurance agency was looking for a strategy to make personal, impactful connections with their remote customer base.

Solution: American Solutions for Business implemented a streamlined birthday card program. Each month, nearly 300 birthday cards are sent to the client’s customer base. To keep it fresh, artwork is updated annually so that recipients receive a unique card each year. Mailing lists are imported and presorted, which also qualifies the client for postage savings.

Success: With the increase in email marketing and decrease in physical mail, personalized greeting cards receive a lot of attention. Recipients often reach out to their agent to thank them, which leads to additional conversations and connections. The program has been successfully running for three years and will continue on into the future.
