Situation: Every year a bank hosts a picnic for all 125 employees and their families. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the bank needed to come up with a creative way to host an alternative event for this year.

Solution: American and the bank worked together to come up with a ‘Drive-Thru’ employee appreciation event with a 4th of July theme to get employees excited for the upcoming holiday. Tables were placed throughout the parking lot of the bank with an executive team member at each station handing out gifts and incentives while guests drove by. Employees were given a beach tote, beach towel, a drink tumbler, beach balls, frisbees, mini hand sanitizers, and sunglasses. Each employee also received a personal thank you letter from the executive team along with a $15 gift card. To top it off it was national Bomb Pop day so on their last stop, guests each received a festive Bomb Pop to enjoy!

Success: The ‘Drive-Thru’ event was a hit. Employees were able to collect their appreciation gifts and see a familiar face while still staying safe and head back home without ever leaving the vehicle!
