CLIENT: Multi-location Hospital
SITUATION: The hospital was in need of a full installation of interior signage for their new facility on the East Coast. With a quickly approaching deadline, the hospital sent out requests for formal bid proposals along with general specifications and timeline requirements. The hospital administrators were under pressure to align a new source after their initial sign supplier failed to deliver.
SOLUTION: Securing the opportunity and the relationship, American got to work with our architectural signage team and together we made an on-site hospital visit. Through tours and meetings with the hospital administrators, we identified the need for proper ADA compliant room and wayfinding signage. We developed a proposal and provided samples and recommendations for ‘Good-Better-Best’ scenarios, so the hospital could compare options to their budget.
SUCCESS: The result was a $100,000 sale and affirmation of the valuable consultative support that American provides its customers. While becoming a reliable source for our client, we also provided the best solution through implementation and thorough execution. The relationship has opened conversations to expand the breadth of print and promotional products to this customer and has yielded additional opportunities with new clients.
