American Solutions for Business raised $7,500 for Safehome during the 2024 American Summit in Hot Springs, Virginia. Safehome is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing advocacy and support services to survivors of domestic, dating, and sexual violence. These efforts and donations were made possible by the generosity of the Summit attendees and entire American family.
Starting weeks before the event, attendees and supporters had the opportunity to purchase $25 floor decals. With each $25 donation, donors received a personalized decal featuring their name, which was then displayed throughout the Summit event space.
“We are fully funded by grants, so every donation has a significant impact,” shared Carmen Lamdis, Family Advocate with Safehome. “As a domestic violence shelter, we also provide external services like counseling. Our mission is to support men, women, and children while working to end the stigma, ensuring that everyone understands it’s okay to ask for help.”
