In this month’s Family Matters blog, we shine a spotlight on the father-son sales duo, Vince and Jack Croyle. Inspired by his father’s passion for his work at American, Jack knew that joining forces with his dad was the perfect career move.

What’s your favorite memory from Jack’s childhood?
Many years of baseball.
What motivated you to start working together as a family?
Jack observed how much I thoroughly enjoy my work life with American. He grew more and more interested in learning about American, and once he graduated college, he came onboard.
Can you share a memorable success story that you achieved together?
I think it would have to be when Jack landed his first order. We discussed vendors best suited for the project and the client was thrilled with the finished product and the customer service he provided.
What do you love about working together?
We speak with each other often. It creates more communication as we discuss work as well as life outside of work.
What’s a challenge you face when working together?
We live in two separate cities, so we must work over the phone and internet.
What advice would you give to other family pairs considering working together professionally?
Just be open with each other’s ideas and enjoy the extra time you gain from working together.
