Bori Ly Named Regional VP of Strategic Operations Support

American Solutions for Business announced that Bori Ly will be joining the team as Regional VP of Strategic Operations Support.

“We’re so excited to have Bori join our team,” expresses Amy Spychalla, VP of Strategic Operations Support. “With his industry knowledge and strong people skills, Bori will be a solid addition to our team, working with sales associates across the country to develop and present creative solutions to grow their business.”

Prior to joining American, Bori served as the National Sales Manager for HPG, where he managed national accounts through face-to-face meetings, and promoted strong relationship building through regional and national trade shows. He also achieved sales goals by hiring and training employees, while coaching them to develop their selling skills and maintain adequate sales pipelines.

Ly adds, “I’ve always admired the professionalism and family atmosphere of ASB. I’m excited about the potential to grow and collaborate with the best sales professionals.”

Where you’re located? Salt Lake City, UT

What is your educational background? Bachelor of Science – Strategic Communication, University of Utah 

Your journey in the industry: I started out managing an Inside Sales’ team for a Promo supplier. My love for sales, travel and customer interaction eventually lead me to become the National Sales Manager.

What you’re looking forward to most with this change? The challenge of working in an evolving Print & Promo Market. A position where I can use my skills to make an impact that I can see with my own eyes. Being at a company where I can excel and work toward something I care about matters. 

Family life/hobbies: First and foremost, I’m a #girldad. I have 5 daughters that take up most of my time. My wife (Chrystal) and I love to travel to University of Utah football games. We have a passion for Utah football. I enjoy working with the Youth Group of our local church.  My favorite hobbies include fishing, lifting weights and spending time with my family.
